By providing your name and address, you are volunteering to enter into a temporary Conservancy Plan for your residential property located within Springfield Township, Montgomery County Pennsylvania for the month of May 2024.
You agree to follow the terms of the Conservancy Plan as stated below. The Springfield Township Environmental Advisory Commission (EAC) will be administering the No Mow May for 2024.
- The EAC will share the names and addresses of those residents participating with the Chief of Police and the Fire Marshall. This list will be used in case of complaints from neighbors.
- No Mow May will run during the month of May.
- The curb strip grass between the street and the sidewalk must be maintained at a mowed height.
- Along the perimeter of the lawn next to the sidewalk or street if you have no sidewalk, the grass must be maintained at a mowed height for the width of a lawn mower.
- A sign identifying participation must be prominently displayed on the lawn. The sign will be provided by the EAC.
- You will discuss the benefits of No Mow May and why you are not cutting your lawn with your neighbors.
- All lawns must be cut back to regular length by the end of the first weekend after May ends, by end of day Sunday June, 2.
