Rotary Club Presents Donation

At the May 8, 2024 business meeting of the Board of Commissioners, representatives from the Springfield Township Rotary Club presented a generous gift of $32,000 to the community for the purchase and construction of a new recreation pavilion at Cisco Park. The new structure will measure 20' x 20' and will be located adjacent to the playground that is in the process of being renovated (for more information on the Cisco Park Playground Project, please click here).

The new pavilion will be named in honor of William Piszek, who volunteered as a member of the Rotary Club for over 20 years until he passed away in 2022. The pavilion will respectively be called Piszek Pavilion.

Construction dates for the pavilion are yet to be determined. The Springfield Township Board of Commissioners and staff wishes to thank the Rotary Club for its generous donation!
