Resurfacing Planned Next Week for Valley Green Road
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will begin paving the roadway under a resurfacing project on Valley Green Road between Church Road and Camp Hill Road in Springfield and Whitemarsh townships. Milling and paving is scheduled for Sunday, August 4 from 5:00PM to 6:00AM the following morning, and Monday, August 5 through the 9th, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM and 7:00PM to 5:00AM the following morning. A lane closure is scheduled on Valley Green Road during the project.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution along the roadway and allow extra time when traveling through the work area due to lane restrictions or take alternate routes during the paving process if available.
