PECO, in association with recent gas main restoration projects, will begin paving restorations this Friday, August 30th on various streets in Springfield. This work will begin with trench restorations, and follow up with mill and overlay. During this work, the streets listed below will be closed to traffic:
- Wedgewood Road (trench restoration only)
- Norfolk Road
- Haws Lane
- Harston Lane
- Bent Lane
Impact on Residents & Motorists
The work is scheduled between the hours of 7:30AM to 4:00PM. School buses, and emergency vehicles will still be able to access homes on those streets while the work is being done. Motorists are also advised to allow for extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
