National Friends of the Libraries Week is October 20 - 26, 2024!
Who are the Friends of the Free Library?
The Friends of the Free Library of Springfield Township is a group of neighborhood volunteers who work to strengthen their local library through advocacy and fundraising for this important educational and cultural asset to area residents. The Friends help the library in the following ways;
- Act as advocates for the Library in the community
- Sponsor and fund library programming for children, teens, and adults
- Organize special fundraising book sales
- Fund the purchase of new equipment, furniture, books, and more.
