The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacement work is scheduled to take place on Stenton Avenue in Springfield and Whitemarsh Townships, Montgomery County, beginning Monday, December 15.
Road Closure and Detour
From Monday, December 15, through Thursday, December 18, Stenton Avenue will be closed and detoured between Bethlehem Pike and Joshua Road daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow Bethlehem Pike, Route 73 (Skippack Pike/Church Road), and Joshua Road.
Motorists should plan for additional travel time when driving near the work area, as backups and delays are expected. All activities are weather dependent.
