The final phase of the PECO Gas main replacement along Montgomery Avenue is scheduled to begin on THURSDAY, May 20th. This construction work will stretch from Paper Mill Road to Terminal Avenue in Erdenheim. Traffic will be reduced to ONE lane with flaggers.
Motorists are advised to allow for extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Kehoe Construction is the contractor doing the restoration work for PECO. They will be working between the hours of 9AM-3PM and take approximately two weeks to complete. These construction activities will not affect Enfield Elementary school bus drop off times. Construction will conclude with milling and re-paving of the street.
