Gas Main & Line Replacement Starts Monday
PECO will be starting a gas main replacement project on Pennsylvania Avenue between Heritage Drive and Lynn Avenue in Oreland beginning on Monday, September 20, 2021 between the hours of 9AM and 3PM. Work for this project may occur in roadways as well as on sidewalks and potentially on residential properties within the public right of way.
Temporary lane closures are to be expected during this time. Motorists are asked to slow down, and to allow for delays when traveling through work areas. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Pennsylvania Avenue is a state roadway and PECO is performing the work pursuant to a highway occupancy permit issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
