Residents traveling on Church Road into Cheltenham Township should be aware of road work impacting the area in front of Arcadia University - Texas Eastern Transmission has planned maintenance activity on the eastbound lane of Church Road, in front of Arcadia - Waverly Road to Eastern Road. Texas Eastern Transmission has planned maintenance that will involve accessing a section of pipe to provide for a visual inspection, followed by remediation if necessary. The road will then be repaved upon completion.
The work is scheduled to begin Monday, August 8th and stretch for approximately 21 days. Anticipated work hours are 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday–Friday, and 8:00am - 5:00pm Saturday, so residents who frequently travel this route should prepare for traffic delays and detours.
