Springfield Township is proud to recognize Parks and Recreation Director, Emily Baiada, on being nationally recognized as a rising young professional by the National Recreation and Park Association. Only 30 individuals were selected from more than 100 nominations. Nominees were evaluated on one or more of the following criteria:

  •         Impact on the agency’s community and service population
  •         Contributions to the professional development of the field of parks and recreation
  •         Innovative ideas, programs or research in the field of parks and recreation

This year’s outstanding National Parks & Recreation 30 Under 30 winners come from varying backgrounds. These exceptional individuals perform varying specializations and have each had profound impacts in their own way. Their stories are full of inspiration, ingenuity, talent and passion.
