Recycle Bin Cost Increased to $25
Residents are advised that due to increasing manufacturing costs, there will be price adjustment for recycle bins purchased at the Springfield Township building.
Effective October 11, 2022, the cost of Township recycle bins will increase from $15 to $25. The 32 gallon recycle bins are available for purchase at the Township Administration Building during business hours, cash or check only. Lids can also be purchased separately for $5.
Residents in need of a recycle bin can alternatively purchase their own recycle bin from any hardware or home improvement retailer so long as it abides by Township collection standards. In this case, residents should visit the Administration Building for a free yellow recycle bin sticker to place on the can. All trash/recycle containers must be standard 32 Gallons; no oversize cans will be accepted.
