TOWNSHIP OFFICES & FREE LIBRARY CLOSED
Springfield Township offices will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023 in observance of New Year's holiday.
The Free Library of Springfield Township will be closed on December 30 through January 2. The Library's Book Drop will also be closed during that time. The Administration Building and Library will reopen Tuesday following normal business hours.
MODIFIED TRASH & RECYCLE
Trash and recycling scheduled for Monday collection will be picked up on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
Due to the amount of recyclable materials generated during the holiday season, please note that recyclables will also be collected on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. No other pickup days should be affected by this holiday.
CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION
Christmas trees will be collected beginning January 4th until January 20th. Please place your tree at the curb for collection on your regular refuse collection day. Please do not "wrap" the tree in plastic, or leave lights and/or other decorations on it as it will be chipped into useful mulch and made available to residents in late winter. Please call the Township after February 1st to inquire about the availability of mulch.
