PECO will be starting a gas main replacement project in the area of Haws Lane from Bethlehem Pike to Chestnut Lane as well as some parts of Atwood Rd. The work is scheduled to begin the week of or after February 27, 2023.
Haws Lane will be closed between Chestnut Ln and Bethlehem Pike between 9:00AM and 3:00PM for approximately 2-3 weeks starting Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Residents living in the area will still have access to their homes and trash service will continue uninterrupted. Residents should be advised to make sure trash is out by 7:00AM on the designated trash day, as trash will be collected first on that route. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
Motorists are advised to allow for extra time when traveling around the work areas because slowdowns will occur due to the detour. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
